Terms of Service

These terms cover how CorgaDev ('I', 'me') provides website design and development services to clients ('you'). Site visitors browsing this website are also covered by clauses 1 and 3. Where a project is underway, the fixed quote you approve becomes the governing project agreement.

1. Services & the mockup-first process

  • Every project starts with a free homepage design mockup in your brand. You approve the direction before production code begins.
  • You receive a fixed written quote before work starts; no hourly billing surprises unless you've explicitly asked for and signed off on them.

2. Payment

  • Projects begin once the quote is approved and any agreed deposit (typically 50%) is received.
  • The remaining balance is due on launch deliverable handover, before or at deployment.
  • No payment is required to receive or review a mockup.

3. What you receive

  • On final payment you receive full ownership of the finished source code, along with access to the deployed site and hosting.
  • Designs, code and content remain CorgaDev IP until final payment is received; after that, they're yours.

4. Revisions

  • Design and content revisions are part of the quoted scope until the agreed milestone is approved.
  • A new feature or page added after a milestone is approved is scoped separately — never a hidden charge, always agreed first.

5. Third-party services

  • Where the project uses third-party services (Vercel, Web3Forms, Supabase, domain registrars), their own terms and fees apply to you. I'll surface those in the quote before you commit.

6. Liability

  • Work is provided 'as is' after approval. I'm not liable for indirect losses (including lost revenue) arising from use of the delivered site.
  • I maintain professional standards and keep your code honest — no hidden bloat, no surprise lock-in.

7. Communication

  • I commit to replying to client messages within 24 hours during a project. If something is blocking progress, you'll hear it straight away, not at the end.
